Did some more changes, especially to proportions and topology. The width of the skull should be correct now and I separated the parts. Will work on the eyes next and add the neck, after that I think I can start to make her look closer to the concept.
Start adding the wringkles/creases. Add lips. Lightly sculpt the face paint(?). I have no idea what this character is and did a quick google search and found this; There's alot happening with the skin that you haven't hinted at which would be the next step IMO.
I sculpted shirt and face up and did a test bake. Hopefully it'l look better when i add hair to the model. Updated the environment as well, but need to sync my hdd before i can take any screen caps.
Did you add a source mesh? You have that window collapsed. This still looks like a double face issue of some sort, if you post the model file one of us can bake it and see if we get the same results as you.
Well for a first head, i'd say it's a bit more challenging, if you have any experience with hard surfaces, approach it in the same manner. Keep the polycount low and play with edge tightness where needed. and yes i did add a turbosmooth on top :)
Looks really great! would love to see a first person view of this. The only real question i have for this is why did not make the holes have geo on the front part of the hand guard. I think that could really add to this in the low poly.
You are both right. I'll add some color variation to the bricks and will darken the grout. The wood is indeed a differnet style, still searching for my own personal style, not that easy :) Thanks for your feedback. Here is another one, I did today:
found a way using rigidbodies, but I need to use gravity, but only after the pieces have been hit. What I did way add rigidbodies to the pieces. But if I have gravity the whole things fall straight down right away.
I did some more on the dock area and built up the terrian more: Is the terrian looking good enough? or is it a bit too "mushy" right now. im thinking about stylizing it a bit more. I will add lots of vegitation and stuff to it too.
I've done quite a number of JK/JA models a while back but I'm very rusty. Did you add a .bot file to the PK3? The folks at the JK2/JA model board from the Lucasforums can help you better with this I think.
