Thanks E_ensey! I'm working right now.. :) This is the ifrit part of the attack. The idea is that he splits himself into two and both the ifrit and the djinn attack the target. I haven't animated the cloak yet. The blue thing is the indicator of the attack's direction and the red triangle is the locator of the djinn.
Thank you, Andres! It's a challenging one for me. Here's an update. There are millions of things I will be fixing, no part of the illustration is even close to being done, but I wanted to post it since it's been a while. So, yeah, tons of painting to do.

Very nice work on the stare!!! She has a very innocent yet menacing look in her eyes. Would be funny if Sketchfab had analytics with heat maps on the most viewed parts of a model :P
