I think the problem I tried to mirrored in a maya way, to type -100% to the Y scale. I cut the problematic polygon to another mesh, and paste back, now it works. Sorry
You totally don't need those holes on lowpoly magazine... they can be easily done with normal map I guess. Generally, there's a ton of redundant polygons on LP, not adding anything to the silhouette...
Very organised. I like the assets. I think you could keep a better eye on polygon density. Those paper rolls vs. the vases show it best. Staying tuned :)
Here do this to your boots and i think you can call it good. remove the lines i covered and youl get the same shape with out waisting all those polygons.
Frankie is right, edgeless polygon technology(tm) is the way to go! I'm more excited about modo 2 http://www.luxology.com/modo/201/ http://www.luxology.com/modo/201/features.aspx
You mean it helps YOU Ror. The Normal mod does a quick flip of all the faces. Also a quick way to convert a spline shape into polygons. Reps sell software, right?
Thetraza This might help you http://nicholasgiovinco.com/nicholasgiovinco/2011/2/4/polygon-modeling-tables-for-3d-artists.html and the discussion link http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=2&t=764151 Regards
Can't see any pics, but 800 polygons is really really low resolution. To do snow well, you'll want a detail modulation kind of technique, like discussed here. The Snow and Ice of Uncharted2?
I suspect it's just an additive texture applied to some camera-facing polygon strips? Probably with an animated texture (possibly using world coordinates as UVs) to give the impression of haze as the laser passes through it.
why would you press E? what does the red t do. it shows you a manipulator click on the cirkels also go to Polygon panel/ create uv/ cylindrical mapping/ help / read
