Glib: This could have to do with Unreal's unit granularity. I recall that on export verts are effectively snapped to a grid, albeit a fairly fine grid.. I think it was on the order of 100ths or 1000ths of a UU, but those are often larger than the finest granularity of a 3d app where vertices are expressed with a 32-64 bit…
Fuck, it's turned into a bunch of lists of titles that I couldn't be bothered to read. Why should you watch Harvey? It's got Jimmy Stewart playing a likeable drunk (that never drinks) who has the entire world figured out with the help of his 6 foot rabbit friend. It still wears the mantle of the play, with a limited cast…
We had problems at work with our models being scaled 1/1000th the size they were before going into zbrush and found it to be a problem with xforms. Did you reset your xforms before you exported the model to zBrush?
Well, yeah technially you should be paying I guess, but I'd read the licensing agreement or shoot him an e-mail. Im sure for personal portfolio use there'd be no charge to grab some of these that don't have watermarks http://www.1000skies.com/partials/index.htm ( but I could be wrong )
Thanks for the input, mighty helpful! Cheapalert: If I can arrange it (I have some buddies who are studying and have access to motion capture studios afaik) I will, not promising anything there though Rick: Fair points, I´d say the reason to go to my site would be quality along with fair licensing (still looking in to…
If people wanted to ride the merry-go-round for merry-go-round prices we could do that and rake in the cash. But they want the entire 6 flags park for merry-go-round prices. Actually you are getting more bang for your buck. better textures, bigger environments more detailed characters smarter AI bla bla bla. Given the…
The table looks like it will fall over because of how big the top is compared to the radius of the bottom. That's a very minor pick probably, but that's what it reads to me. The texture looks ok, could use some more love with slight highlights and variation in color with the diffuse map and a more defined specular map. How…
I like to use the Working Pivot functionality frequently, especially when working in Vertex sub-object mode. Because of this, I wrote a macro script that will set the Working Pivot to the center of the current vertex selection, and assigned a hotkey to it. I select whatever vertex I want to use as the pivot point and press…
[ QUOTE ] I got a problem when baking my normal maps, I got small red dots that I can't get rid of. I have discover that small object can cause this, but now I really don't know how to fix the remaining dots. My cage don't cross these areas so I don't know what to do. Someone got an idea?
