I don't know if Lightwave is doomed but it will have a rocky road ahead. Rob Powers is taking over a program from someone else, but that is a different issue all together. IMHO. Glen
Your punch needs some offset. You've got your feet and hand moving at the same time on frame 7. Takes a lot of power out of it, and makes it look a bit awkward
Max + Graphite Modeling Tools (in 2010) or Polyboost (2009 and below) is pretty powerful for high poly modeling. What exactly do you think these other pieces of software have to offer?
hope i'll be able to install codsworth in my power armour, paint it red and gold, and add my own music to the radio, maybe choose a track that plays when i put it on.
I remember we bound Houdini engine and Substance together in one tool via Maya glue code. It's quite a powerful combination. I Just wish the integration were tighter.
Looks pretty good so far. His neck looks a little stretched though. Also, his legs look a little meaty, but if that's the look you're going for then more power to ya.
Man these are awesome, I'd love to know the workflow. But you know what, it's great to see stuff like this can even be done in Substance, really shows off the power it can have.
Powerful and interesting design - the colour scheme with the hints of bright blue works beautifully. I particularly like how the inside of the cape make his legs, body and head stand out.
I dig the campsite, it feels just right. Not too much, not too little. Paintovers are great, but what's the purpose of the little...power symbols? They look out of place. Keep going!
The crashes in chrome are not the fault of Sketchfab; Chrome has had some issues with the last few builds, WebGL is not entirely stable. Extremely powerful and promising, but this is an emerging technology and will have glitches here and there.
