how to use ddo texture (albedo / gloss /spec / normal) to modo renedring, in ddo my game model look good , but when I try to import textures to modo I can't achieve good results
As for the specs of the functional model it totals out to be 22, 353 tris and 11,183 points which is pretty okay(?) since the sculpt from zbrush was past 2 billion quads
My first try at texturing. Not the best but slowly getting there.I am really having hard time with spec and getting that metal look. Any crits or tips are welcome
Looking pretty good! What are you using for referance for your stage coach? Are you planning on adding some paint to it, to let you vary the spec map on the wood?
you need to focus on texturing, at the moment none of the materials are reading very well, hand painting will really help sell low spec assets, you should try it.
Spec! Everything is reading as really flat right now. The modeling is nice. But the texturing is really flat. I would add more modeling detail to the machines on the sides as well.
the hilt looks a bit cloudy. and the scratches on the tip of the blade are too apparent in what ill guess is the diffuse. keep the scratches at a low opacity in the diffuse and make it white in the spec.
Finally got around to some textures for Langspear. Diffuse and normals only. Still needs a seam cleaning and spec etc. Also started Langspier's buddy the despicable Tweed.
