@Konzui Great job man. The lighting and the mood looks great. My only critique is that the books are a bit hard to read on the shelf from the patterns of the light (which I've run into myself), along with the colors of the books. Their color ranges blend in a bit with the shelf and light color. @Raybees Thanks for the…
Loved the sale, picked up the UDK terrain vid, Vertex Blending one and this modular building one. Just watched the modular building vid and man I wish I had this vid when I was trying to learn to do modular stuff in school. Would have made things so much simpler. The video was great, covered the material extremely well and…
nice! The white from the ao is rather strong. photoshop > ao on "multiply" ontop of a grey(ish) layer to create a more natural/default material. Since the tri count is already a bit up, I would defenitly add a few boxes to bake those plateing bits onto, instead of having it normalmapped. Just as some parts above the front…
Haven't even thought of scan data and fixing meshes, I can totally see that being very useful! Except when Sculptris Pro is the thing that creates a horrific polygons mess https://twitter.com/TocoGamescom/status/1101546148391800833 I found this guy seemingly creating lots of his amazing detailed sculpts with Scultris Pro:…

Hi Ruz! I would suggest so see scans more like a perfect way of getting good 3d reference images for volumes and shapes. Also it's great to create library material for close and mid distance surface details or location references for environment recreations. Texturing in a photo realistic manner is also more like the job…
I agree with the "wont make a difference" crowd here. If i'm looking at an artist there's only a few things that matter to me, the main ones simply being, can they create great art, and how much of a douchebag is this person? I'd also hate for a day to come where I was told I could not hire someone because they werern't…
If you have an idea for an XBLArcade/WiiWare game...create it. If you have a great idea for an iPhone game that will make you millions of dollars...create it (everyone and their mother is these days). Make small games. Lead a mod. Build up a reputation. Find a publisher. Earn experience and trust. Get funding. Build your…
