great work Oh you are using blender ? i use it too , please , can you share the blend with me through - Email is delete from the post by poster - for educational use thanks
currently your rocks stand out from the surrounding sand, i would be inclined to do some sort of vertex blending and paint another texture in around them to seat them on the sand.
Pretty amazing work from I'd say - everything is very believable. Do you paint in Photoshop from scratch, if so what blending method do you use when painting?
Loving those rocks :) Nice tutorial and btw how do you paint in ambient occlusion with vertex paint? Do you just generate a map and put a vertex blend material on the mesh?
I would normally create an image with my email on it. Text on an image that blends with the rest of the page. You could then set a java encryption script to link to your email, but I wouldn't bother.
Sculpted few modular pieces today. Planning to decimate it for low poly. Will be downloading some Megascans rock surfaces and later blending them in substance painter for rock texture.
Been doing some restructuring in my substance and shader graphs to get a more pleasant blending, now using three texture sets (mud, muddy cobblestone and cobblestone):
Maybe I am doing something wrong, but... what? The discs are absolute, bound to 256px. The composite, blend node is set to 'Relative to parent' and you can see the result ~
Looks cool. Love the colours. A lot of your leaves have a transparent look to them. Maybe use a different blend type, as they perfectly form to whatever is underneath them?
Good luck fellas. As a man that started his career in MMO's, Never again! Way to chaotic :( Getting canned was a blessing in disguise for me. Hope it is for you guys too!
