looks good, you could mirror blade and handle to get better optimisation, when it comes to texturing, I would advice to remove that X shapes scratches and would add something photosourced instead
I need help with the normal mapping X( It looks like my idea for the metal part worked, besides for being miss aligned and making a weird lumpy sphere, how do I fix that.
If you select your mesh. and Shift + RMB/ mapping... Do you get the options for planner map x planner map y planner map z Or is the options missing from here as well?

I like more the right design even with longer hair. Maybe you could try to add the upper part ( i mean the weapon, I never thought about how it's called :X )
Not quite sure how this works in Unity, but in Unreal the 0,0,0 in the 3d app will be the pivot point once you import into the engine - if that's the case in Unity, then you need to move your mesh so the X is on the 0,0,0.

A tad bit convenient something's leaked so soon after the hoax. Fishy x 100 IMO. I'll wait for real proof before supposed leaks. Want to be proven wrong, but I doubt it.
the wrapping is still wrong although a step in the right direction.. look at this picture and see how the wrapping itself is actually not so wide and how it comes around from both sides to form one "X"
