[ QUOTE ] They generally stay out of it these days. I can't attest to what they've done in the past with other shady acquisitions but I can tell you they've been great here at Mythic and I expect it will be the same in this case. [/ QUOTE ] And Mythic works on what, now? Warhammer, Warhammer, and Warhammer? And guess what…
We had a bit of a musical theme in our spam threads here are work yesterday (spam thread: fun emails sent out to the company). http://www.lesliehall.com/index12.htm I had to buy the Gold Pants album which is now one of my prized office collectables. Big thanks to Rogue for turning me onto her musical genius. Shes actually…
The model looks great. It's a good choice. The texture is nice. You could use better lighting to show it off. Mainly, the image looks flat. Most of the left image is hidden in shadow. The low poly mesh is very rounded, so I can't tell what the normal map is doing to improve it. The normal map itself looks fine. But, as it…
Okay, I rolled out some updates to the site tonight. Nothing art content wise, mostly just Site stuff. Changes: * New Header logo * Added Contact page and nav links * Added Resume downloads in .doc and .pdf * Fixed all of the background and border issues * Reordered the thumbnails to place characters as priority Since I'm…
errr.. beginning to sound like work. I agree with pior, setting a theme would constrict some of us. it doesn't matter if we come up with a mish mash of assets that look like they don't belong to a single universe. As long as it represents polycount. Or maybe just include the polycount logo somewhere in your design. that…
I would kill the animation on the Alien in your reel. Im sorry, but animation isn't your strong point at the moment so I wouldn't show it. Your reel would be stronger without it. Additionally, I would take out your reference shots for the demon. It's too jarring and creates confusion. Just give credit at the end of the…
Here is my finished high poly. @Zukan: Looks good but her shoulders seem a little to wide, I'm not sure. @Josh.0: It loos great, really like the form @Trawler: really good job. Only the stripes on her trousers end in a strange place.
Hihi! Gonna be posting wips and some finals here : D! I'm decently new to 3d, substance + unreal so any help would be appreciated! For this piece, I based it off of Lobotomy Corporation's hubs / command rooms. I created the piece as if it was a side office for clerks to go in to work. I'm most likely going to go back and…
the models look good on thier own but the scene looks very washed out, perhaps its lighting or fog or post process making it look so white/gray overall. I would expect some darkness and some highlights. AO loos a little heavy in some places.
