That is correct. Sad to see you go... though I know a few users who end up coming right back. Keep in mind they are planning for a completely new keymap (current target is 2.8), so a lot of what you learn now may be temporary (in regards to muscle memory)... though I expect they will have an option for those too used to… -

Well, yes, of course, although you would need to UV-unwrap the plane and get it lined up properly (which you can do just in ZBrush pretty easily, if you want to get everything lined up without importing a millions of polygons mesh into Max.)
