wk - #1 Homework Feedback: * Bind Pose (Arms raise higher and Legs straighten) * Face too realistic? Feels a bit older than the concept * Back of skull shape * Bigger eyes * Taper Cheeks and Jaw bit more * Soften Nose Bridge * Eyes bit flat from the profile * Neck too thick and too much detail (ages her up) * More build-up…
Actually, the Source engine uses a curious combination of vertex key and bone animation. All of the body parts are animated using bones. All of the facial animation is done by blending together various vertex keys. So it is quite possible. I haven't checked the Torque engine for this kind of compatibility though.
Your jaw bone does not usually run into the back of your head . The top of your ears are usually flush with your eyes . Usually mens necks are a little thicker coming down with the sides of the jaw bone . That crease on the sides of the eyes looks wierd also . If you take away the rest the nose and the mouth look pretty…
Okay, so here's my first 3 styles of skeletons: *Cowboy is a standard G5 "Mr Pose" human from iClone *Horse is a quadruped converted to non-standard humanoid via 3DXchange, as shown in previous posts. *And meet CactusDude, created with iClone's simple invisible "clonebone" skeleton and a few distorted spheres attached for…
@ justo sorry I should have been more explicit: a deformer with a baseShape is not the same thing as a deformer with just a shape ( although u can sometimes get luck with similar effects on some ) deformers that use base shapes have two shapes and use the distance between the shapes to calculate deformation. But when we…
Thanks, glad you like him! Originally he had more humanoid legs, but it was suggested that he should be more toad-y and slightly less human. I used this pic for toad leg reference, but could probably have done more research. Bones! :) More specifically, toe bones.
Quick lil upload for today! got a few pots done for the scene! I finished a bunch more stuff but this is all I have time to upload! Let me know what you think :) I'm very excited to be done with this final. These were inspired by some of the props in Legion in the Val'Shara zone.
I've done some pretty strange things with the pixel processor but it rapidly becomes unmanageable. the limiting factors are the fact that you cant loop (and thus can't sample other pixels effectively) and that it takes a shit load of nodes to do anything. Eg. It's possible to make an auto levels node with it but you'll be…
Really nice! for a beginner is really well done :) ! My only note would be to add more weight to the last dot. Like when the whole structure start moving it will take a little more time that last dot to move because of the weight. Just like a note =) you did an amazing job
very nice, however I think you have too much red on her face, especially around her eyes. With the pale skin, it makes it look like she's done a line of coke and hasn't slept in two days. I suggest darkening the skin tone or toning down the blushings.
