Indeed! Tech art is one of those roles that is quite common to hire-in as necessary, since a lot of small studios don't always have particularly specialist knowledge like that on hand, but may need to solve one or two difficult problems :)
just to follow up - this is not affecting a specific ztool but seems to generally be an issue with loading any of them. it can be solved by simply restarting Zbrush, then the ztools will load in as usual. still, i could totally do without the panic attacks... :s
ooh awesome! Thanks for wallpapers Wolf! Arent modeling all those technical parts lots of fun? I know I love the problem solving that goes into figuring out these shapes and making everything as close to the real thing as possible
Made welds on tank's base in zbrush (9 mil polygons) and can't to optimaze it. 3d max freeze in process. The Decimation Master in Zbrush si freezing too, the endless analyzing mesh in it. Have anyone knows how to solve the problem?
If you're on Windows 7, and you're trying to render a 4K video, try 1920x1080p instead. The windows video codec in Win 7 doesn't support 4k. On Mac and Windows 10 this should work at 4K. Let me know if that solves it.
Maybe I'm not that much of a help since I don't know the tech behind it. Anyway set you material up like this: http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/RenderToTexture.html I had the same issue and doing it exactly like that solved the problem.
I wish this post had solved my problem, but it aint :S, when i use duplicate special i get my normals flipped, also haven't found solution to this, because people seems to not have this problem around.
Installed and played a little bit last night. Really enjoyed it! I was the tech and had no idea what those puzzles where so I didn't solve them until we died, but I'll show them who's boss!
@kanga Thanks man, I think i have solved the issue, on my artstation you can find the updated character or on my portfolio. Update on my parkour girl, highpoly 96% done, only minor tweaks left.
If your goal is to make game ready assets, you should be exporting these to a game engine, or at the very least into marmoset toolbag. There are issues that crop up in exporting that you'll need to know how to solve, so best get started on that now.
