Ended up going with a different approach that I'm satisfied with for the learning experience. 1. Boolean mesh 2. ZRemesher (Target polygons = 100, KeepGroups) 3. BevelPro output 4. Dynamesh (Resolution 500, Polish).
He hasn't replied to my comment on the video asking for clarification. Probably should add a scarf since there may be a bias in the judging criteria based on if you're pro palestinian or not, since Clinton is involved in the judging process. Also if you dream of world peace, its better to replace the little guy with a…
Hm, I'm not sure I buy this design either. It looks a little underdeveloped (as opposed to the far over developed XBox and Playstation. Thats what... 4 fake revolutions I've seen this week, although admitedly one of them was an NES with a piece of paper with 'Revolution' written on it taped to the top.
Hi This issue has been a reoccuring problem that I've not been able to figure out and was wondering if someone could help me? For a clothing asset I've made, I've followed this workflow on getting clean topology and UVs from Marvelous Designer to Maya/ZBrush…
One crit I have for the Human Revolution scene, it seems there might be a little too much noise in the diffuse of your textures, human revolution for memory kept most of its subtle details in the specular channel, with relatively clean diffuse. This made most of the high frequency detail quite subtle.
[ QUOTE ] Imagine a game like this for the Revolution? Yah thats right, you're thinking about the possibilities right now. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah... the DS petting game for the girls, and the violent shaking of the Revolution controller for the boys. "That's right, shake that thing like a can of spray paint, boy! Now aim for that…
erm, ok? "Game Resolution" has zero impact on the file size of anything at all. Do PC games suddenly increase or decrease in install size when you higher or lower resolution? 720p and 1080p are simple buzz words for "resolution of the screen", but the actual screen resolution bares no impact at all on media sizes. Granted…
a bit old (note use of reveloution) but maybe usefull "Revolution will build on GameCube's configuration of 24MBs 1T-SRAM and 16MBs D-RAM (40MBs) by adding an addition 64MBs of 1T-SRAM. The result is a supply of memory in Revolution that totals 104MBs. That number does not consider either the 512MBs of allegedly accessible…
I was thinking that the French Revolution/industrial revolution era would be an awesome setting for the third game. Tons of interesting stuff going on historically and decadent Paris and foggy, smoky London would make great environments I think. I said 2 years ago that Renaissance-era Venice would be a cool place to set…
Hi! Hm, interesting that you checked in Max but normals are flipped in the fbx. A simple way to check, would be to re-import the exported fbx and check that everything looks as intended. Since its normals define in what direction a face is looking, I would say flipping faces and flipping normals describes the same outcome.…
