Dude shut up. People should have the freedom to post their work without you stripping them down (seen you do this on CGTalk too.) And go and learn the meaning of constructive critisism.
Pior, sorry we can't get thumbnails on the Vanilla platform. They flat out refused. However we're working on a new host, where we have the freedom to do what we want...
That actually doesn't sound too bad... Plus, at home, I can take all the time I want to and not have to be rushed, as well as having full artistic freedom like you mentioned.
I WILL TERMINATE THE DEFICIT, AND I WILL TERMINATE THE ENEMIES OF FREEDOM vs. i don't know what ventura says so just insert that here. we all know arnold would win.
Sorry, but this was kind of devastating for those of us that value our freedom. Particularly little liberties that don't fit in with neconservative "morals." I don't think I'll be ready to move on until at least Monday.
update still trying to get this working I took some freedom for the pommel and I feel the hand is too small the eyes are being a problem too, I reworked it several times and still not feeling they look right
I often (since I saw it in UDK) blend textures in the shader using vertex paint, and avoiding too much repeating texture as well. Find that it works better then decals and gives more freedom and easier to adjust.
Great work, indeed. The tent looks stunning. :) It would be interesting to look at the concepts you started from, if maybe they are shared anywhere as well. How detailed they were and how much interpretation freedom is given when modeling.
Damn! How far out is that? Looks amazing, the photos give a great sense of freedom and its elements. I sure would get a trigger finger if i was in a place like that with me camera :P great stuff!
There isn't much freedom with glow at the moment, but we are looking into setting up a system that'll give you a bit more control over your glow settings on a layer by layer basis for a future version.
