Well, that 3-5, even 10k can be totally acceptable, even on older pc's. Polygons are cheap nowadays, however there are still limitations if you want crowd and such. But you can always use lods... The another thing that can determine the speed, is the amount of used bones. 1000 tris won't really give you better performance… -

Amazing updates and works you all! That is a lot better than, using an "engine" while working on the current wip and having the entire room, lights and all shutting down to the room i am in... explain that one, while everything else in the home is still on... suspecting somehow the psu isn't 100% adequate for the setup?… -

On the other hand and just to nitpick, only the SC2 screenshot above in undoctored :D All the rest is promo material or scenes rendered with game assets but with better lighting/res and less texture compression, or scened compositions (proof ? the Borderlands and Brink are both the exact same composition 101) :P -

@capone I like it! If anything, I'd say that the center trim where the doors meet MIGHT be a little flat? and also I am not 100% feeling the larger flecks of grunge on the surfaces.
