Thanks Uberren! Sorry about not posting forever, this is a really quickly done render to show proportion changes and the base materials that I'm going to continue to work on. I still need to learn how to properly texture more subtle details as well light better. [IMG][/img]
Teddy you and "The Crew" are killin' it brother. Not only do you guys take time to answer questions and help resolve user issues...you continue to refine Suite to a form of crack candy that we can't resist. This latest update is amazing. Keep up the good work! :)
Great work Prophecies. The addition of the stair case is great, it really adds some depth to the scene. I would suggest continuing the support arches up the stair case. I like ParoXum's suggestion of Ivy. How aged is this scene anyway? Keep up the awesome work :)
If IMVU continues to allow this person to sell even with that many confirmed thefts. I would think a developer could contact IMVU with a legal warning of action against IMVU itself for not banning such users after confirmed cases of theft. That would seem to be the only way to stop these types.
I agree mate . That is one way of being a "dick" one that shall not continue. But, hey, I'm still gonna look at his posts and reply. Just not "Belias this" "Belias that" Again, my intention was not to be any sort of dick but may have come across that way---obviously. Peace.
@Dks13632725 :D :D :D @ThomHeaj Thanks for the continued interest man! It's very encouraging. @FreneticPonies ;) @mats effect Thank you. I think I'll have to revisit the lighting and FX in my newest shot, it has lost a little. Many thanks for the great response friends.
none of the games ive worked on had any highpoly work done for their environment stuff. I was beginning to think it was a Vancouver thing seeing as most people transitioned from EA to startups at the turn of the whole "next-gen" era, and continued to do things the way they were familiar with.
ok so i've continued to try to define the shapes, especially the ones Ged pointed out. i think it's working quite nicely. but the shape of the nose i kept a lil more natural and less straight like in the concept, although i did flatten it out some.
Q2W got .obj loading support, so I can continue making models again I think. At any rate, I don't have to worry about jumping through the flaming loop of poo to get an .md3 model anymore. o and i maed a burl
Wow. Going to reiterate on how incredible the lighting is. I had more fun going through and picking out every detail on this than I did on any Dominance War entry. Whatever techniques you experimented with I hope you continue to implement them in the future.
