I don't understand, you could so easily get a job at a major game studio, have you ever tried that? Or is it not possible b/c of your location etc. Or do you only want to work in films etc?
Sweet, thanks! I made a todo list on Trello because I'm a nerd, lol. https://trello.com/b/N0y2dBzR/tree Also trying to liven up the silhouette... I know the leaf density consistency is off right now...
I can safely say- I'm on a higher spectrum of yellow- so you probably want jot it down a bit :D - here's my color ( R: 255 G: 174 B: 1 ) It's almost approaching the orange border.
I'm not sure what you're saying but if the dragon is using a default Lambert, just rename the texture and change it to what you want, Or you can get rid of the scene and use Alt+B to cycle through different coloured backgrounds.
so... at the expense of sounding stupid.. 1. how do i add a decal. 2. whats the best way to take the stuff into the game engine A. as texture maps like above or B. attach loads of geometry and render to texture with GI
Apparently there's also going to be new NIN material this year. Maybe it'll be B-Sides from The Fragile when The Fragile Deluxe Edition comes out or maybe it'll be another series of Ghosts albums. Either way I'll be happy!
yeah jon, you did like 3 model pack for FPSC if I'm correct? you're still very popular there, so I took the liberty of spreading the joy :) http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=180410&b=3
Perhaps the new bug in Photoshop CS2 where when you click to close *Window A* after saving and it closes *Window B* erroneously which was usually unsaved...all without prompting you to save. Thats really goddamn annoying.
To somehow go back to the original topic - Weren't the bumps in Halo all made by hand (as in, converted from B&W textures rather than generated from a highpoly source?) Not saying that it's good or bad - just think it is quite remarkable.
Just got the game tonight. It's pretty slick! Sometimes kind of hard to tell where I'm supposed to go (b button helps). Otherwise, its visually amazing and a blast to play. Grats to those of you here who worked on it!
