I'm currently looking for a replacement jaw :poly121: Seriously this is insane, this looks so real ! I whish someone could soon put a good UE4 tutorial about interior lighting, global illumination and all that stuff. Lighting is really my weakest point ...
I agree Muzz, that is the best way to make me look for information elsewhere. :poly124: ...might be that it's some useful info, but seriously, if I ever claim anything of mine to be the best anything - somebody pull me aside and bring me down a notch, please.
Seriously digging your work after scanning through your sketchbook. Your inktober drawing were highlights, as was the KFC robot. Your 3D stuff looks really good too, the gargoyle statue stands out there. Keep up the good work, man!
I think we seriously need a master thread for this issue. The first post could be how to use the Pomodori technique when stuck for ideas or using a Picke-Me program to randomly pick an image from an archive and for you to start speed sculpting it or something.
The result, as pointed out, isn't that great. Doesn't read as wood, too dark, etc. Wood is a basic material. Not having a grasp of that should answer the question of "should I make a tutorial or not?" Also, these short vids have ads. Seriously? Use anything else.
You seriously need to press F1 and read some of the 3dsmax help files if you can't figure this kind of stuff out on your own man. Selecting 2 vertices that share a common face and hitting connect should create an edge between them.
You probably killed them with how awesome it was. Next time try not to be so amazing. But seriously crank out another piece while you're waiting, update your portfolio and send them a "hey remember me, oh and check this update out" email.
Looks like I'll have to come back to this later. My day job made a mistake and seriously overscheduled me, so I won't have enough free time for the next week or so. And I was already only toying with it on the side of other projects :/
....Seriously you guys never had any crashing issues after doing that? I mean, I explained that I used to do this, than I started exporting since it started crashing the entire project. Uhh..never mind, thanks for help though :)
I thank you for this link, seriously I how could I have missed music like this before. It's just to good. My brain is gonna melt from all this goodness. I usually listen to a channel that has some good music on di.fm.
