Well I did some more work on my entry for this month. The textures are stil WIP and I need to add some masks, but the idea is clear I think. Lots of good PA weapons posted here though. -

Yep getting even more awesome. Did you model the characters in the cages like a real game character or kind of like a pre-posed static mesh? Either way they look great and really add a lot to the scene. -

i add to this, everyone might have found that motherfucking edgepadding doesn't work anymore, it did before, why isn't it adding it? and days later you remember its a post effect that gets applied after rendering :D -

you need to add all the lights and the tires. the changes you made have made it a lot nicer. Model the 50 cal and the at 4 rocket launcher at a minimum. It's not like it's that much more work, compared to what you already did. -

Bit of an update on this; Did a 2k test bake with default render settings (making the normals map look a bit choppy in places). Lowpoly tricount is around 6k tris. I'll add the rest of the details (text, logo etc.) in PS. -

Sweet progress! It's to see your style getting polished:) The skin/eye shader test already had lots of characte in it, are the eyes just poly painted spheres, or did you add some secondary layers to get the nice shine? -

Did a bit more detailing on the clothing, particularly the jacket. I'm thinking of just adding some pockets but I think it needs more refinement because I call it done, thoughts? The plan is to then take this to low poly and add textures. -

why not addative select the polys at multiple points along the cameras path, then invert to get the ones not needed, did this befor and it seamed to work quite well, but it depends on how complex the scene is and how many camera veiws you have -
