Vertices are missing on polygons that i unhidden
I'm using max 8 and i used the polygon hide feature in Edit Poly to hide certain faces so i could work more easily. But when i unhidden the faces the verts that go with those faces are missing??? i tried searching for it but found nothing. Anyone know a solution to for this? -

hmm, I don't know, about an 8 hour day or maybe 2 depending on how detailed everything is. Seems like art test typically are assigned with the assumption you are doing it on your free time... you get a week to do a 1-2 day task. -

Wasn't the grid in UE3 based on powers of 2? As in the default grid could be changed to 8, 16, 32, 64 units etc... Maybe OP came across some older material about 'staying on grid' and the powers of 2 values caused some confusion. Just a guess... -

Haha, I'm pretty sure I bought this laptop from Dell for $1600 back in September.... I did have 25% off though. The only difference is I have 4 GB of RAM instead of 8. My processor is actually 2.03 GHz not 2.00 :P -

I'm pretty sure its the Gama/LUT because they turned that on by default one or two versions ago and it tripped everyone up. But you should also make sure that your Global Ambient Light is set to black, or near black. (Press 8 and check the "Ambient" color)
