Just wanted to know that your textures from painter are exported correctly using UE4 preset. If yes and still doesn't solve, you don't mind sharing the models and texture. I will have a quick look and see what's causing it.
That'll be it then. Being a poor boy my GPU doesn't support DX11. Laptop has max 2015, desktop has 2016. I'm guessing that'll be it then. Thanks for the pointer there! Edit. Working in max 2015 solves the issue. Thnx for the effort :)
First playtests are over, and I'm glad to announce that the level design, puzzle solving and exploration of the first level is LOCKED! May thanks to our testers, they were great, very involved! Now let's take care of the second level! Cheers0

Use construction lines or underdrawing to guide the features. Or, if you're not too proud to use modern 21st century drawing techniques, use a head basemesh or scan to easily help you solve any or all of your anatomy drawing needs.
Ty got the problem solved.....well but mainbord had scratches and borke down...so now I let it beeing repaired..... :( but one question..: my gpu got quite hot just by playing Overwatch what could be the cause ?
This thread makes me the most confused human alive. I'm sorry about any poor information I was giving out, and the complete lack of motivation to try to solve the problem. :\ I'm glad andrew picked up the slack, haha
What was the problem? What was the solution? Perhaps its a common problem and your solution would have helped someone else by leaving it up. Deleting threads in tech talk after they have been solved is not only pointless but simply counterproductive.
I just found this which I think solves my problem. In the Rendering menu: Texturing ->Create Texture Reference Object It works but it is causing some unwanted rotation of the ramp when the head is tilted which doesn't look good.
I've gotten that error when the hard drive isn't working. Usually if I open up the case and make sure all the power plugs and IDE ribbons are secure that usually solves it. Nothin like the ol "jiggle the cable" fix!
