I guess it comes down to education eh? That comment is gonna get a lot of raised eyebrows here. Because having to work and crunch all the time comes down to bad management, over scope, and bad planning... and at the end of the day you burn out, and they just get someone else that is fresh to do the work that you tried so…
Hey guys :D So I've been adding some more stuff in to the scene, polishing and optimizing performance for the game. Lets start with lighting today. I have decided to go with stronger blues to emphasize the mood, I've been tweaking a lot of the post proccess settings to get it to about here. I feel like it still needs…

Eventually games will move away from $50-$70 a copy in favor of more ad support. Just like you pay for cable TV and get way more content than your cable cost covers due to advertising. You can't expect games using this to start free until gamers and advertisers start accepting it but you gotta start somewhere.
Progress update- A better version of the arch mesh (although it still needs a little more detail, maybe another metal fringe running through it), a first pass on the headdress, and just a little post process tinkering to start getting the thumbnail to look right. I'm excited to begin next week by bringing in vegetation…
You're on the right track, but you need to loose the texture /hair and use the basic material so you can move the intetactive light around and evaluate the forms properly. You can't properly study and sculpt the forms if you're distracting yourself with the hair/texture. That stuff is superficial and comes much later. As…
