it was filmed in scotland, and vikings were all over europe, so maybe.. I mean, I think its supposed to be in scotland, because those initial landscapes.. those are very scottish.
i used my friend photorefs & lots of handpainting/cltaning etc. initially they were made for tree model, but they were too dirty to be released as texture. normals were made by crazybump :)
Not many people know that Brink was initially scheduled to be released by the end of this quarter but was then postponed for an undisclosed reason. I think we all know why now... :P Congrats on the 10k man :)
I completely forgot about that, sorry monster. I had no real input with the animation team. I know I suggested you initially, but wasn't aware that you actually worked on it
Hi, welcome to polycount, looks like you passed the initiation beat down! I thought you were using nurbs surfaces before I saw the wireframes, pretty nice.
uv's done time to start texturing revised model (1049 polys) with color flats applied to initial light bake @JasonLavoie thanks! @DanielB i agree, the old knee was balls
I'll chime in to say it's worked perfectly for me on Vista 64, dual core, 4gb ram, initially an nvidia 7950 GX2, and now a GTS 250. No issues. Latest nvidia drivers.
Thank you to everyone who showed up to The Compton Initiative last week! The whole group was able to paint the school's walls and murals well before 12 pm, astonishingly fast.
Further progress: I decided I will scrap the initial symbol design and go with a double keys crossed painted one. That came along with the wings on a "Shield of the heaven city guard" concept
Please let me know if you have any issues with the new version. Also looking for feature requests. Lots of downloads so far, the majority of them initiated from Polycount.
