I meant real time shaders, there was a know problem with max 7 and i dont know if it carried on to 9. but anyway, i generated the normal map from scratch again but this time i straightened the uv borders of the patch, and in scanline renderer it works great. Then i import in roboblitz and i can see the patch seam again.… -

Might also be that maya is making every age a hard edge, that combined with a maya shader is making it look like that. But converting all the edges on a 7 million polygon mesh will probably crash your maya. Maybe there is an option in zbrush to export with smooth edges (or a certain file type). Or since it's just a version… -

just the "Delete" key for vertices. If you want to select edges and delete the edge and the vertices I personally hold Shift + Right click - drag to 7 o'clock in the radial menu "Delete Edge", or the Ctrl + Delete as you said before (which I didn't know about until testing it now so thanks!) Did you do this by eye or did you model this off of a picture of your closet door within the program? Maybe it's the angle but the ratio seems off. Most doors have a width/height ratio of 3:7, yours is looking a little short. Also the carvings look pushed in a little too deep into the door. Bring them forward just a bit.… -
