Thanks Illusive, blended plants more where they meet the sand, and updated with footsteps, blowing fabric, more glinty sand, and story elements, and I'm calling it done
Learning stuff like building in a modular fashion, efficient use of textures by tiling/blending, scene layout, whiteboxing and composition, lighting and researching architecture to name a few.
Just increase (or decrease if it's BSP) the lightmap resolution of your floor. This will also stop the bleeding. But to get that kind of detail in your shadows, you'll need a huge lightmap.
That is my favourite, love the colours, textures and the mood! Would be really interested to see the creation process for these, you've got a really nice blend of digital with a traditional feel.
This is rough sketch over the base form i already had. mostly blending the disconnected area created by spine tool. And to define shape, basic cutline, etcs.
I dont really like the blend between cartoony character and photosourced enviorments, i would spend a little moore time on the art and aesthetics before publishing it.
