I think the problem might have something to do with Flash 8. It works great in Firefox for me too. After further investigation: it's by the same guy who did Cloud, which makes a lot of sense when you compare the two. Apparently this is all still a WIP, and they're going to add a real ending / boss and more sound effects… -

Yea, you gotta use the symmetry tool or just have overlapping uvs, if your intention is to have it completely mirrored. I prefer to use the tow brush in UV view, then use the free transform and just grab the two side points and drag it over and do it by sight. This will happen if you don't bevel/chamfer edges, the raytracer can't pick up any depth from 90° angles. Same in scanline or mental ray. *If you have beveled them, try messing with the distances between the two objects and the cage itself.
