I have been working on some textures for a new project the last few days. They still lack normal and spec, but they are comming along quite nicely I think. More soon

Short of if is Groups define materials on sets of faces. Materials are pretty simple, old fashioned diffuse/spec. Smoothing is hard edges. Normals is custom vertex normals.
started working on the skin specially around the face to see what I could get done, still got to work on the eyes and fix some of the spec on the ears.
Yeah, looking through the older games, and remembering the specs, it probably is the 90's It was surely 256 colors and 3D-ish @Kwramm, nope none of these @James006 ? T.
