Do you guys think to get that really clean painting of the roof they did something like sculpt in zbrush, turn that into grayscale map, then convert to colors and add grandients and other photoshop magic? Or just straight painted with brushes?
It looks more stable and a bit faster. However its a little bit different compared to the old dDo. I'm missing the option to edit the masks in dynamask by tangents space map and height map. Is it somehow possible to add those?
[ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sURDzG8MTVg"]www.youtube.com/watch?v=sURDzG8MTVg[/ame] there you go, just remove everything past the & Nice barrel, curious, did you use dDo for this? Not seeing many of the typical signs.
Cool texture! I kind of want to know more about the background you used in these images though. Did you just make a backplate and add the shadow in photoshop or were you using some kind of cyc wall?
Just finished the post-apocalyptic furniture I did a while back. Tris: 2364 These images are presented with a 4K diffuse/specular/gloss/normal map. Tools used; ZBrush, Maya, Xnormal, Photoshop, dDo & Marmoset 2.
There's been a few threads about this, I did start to compile a bunch one different hosting websites people use into one list, but there's a lot more to add. http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1919745&postcount=2
Did you try Reset Xform, collapse to Editable Poly, and add an Edit Normals modifier? You could also try this. Make a box primitive, convert to Editable Poly, attach your tree, delete the box element.
That's true the PPSH and the Thompson are quite common. I modelled the Thompson way before the other weapons. I did the PPSH because it looked like a simple weapon to model... I'm going to add detail to the other models now.
wow that's an awesome script right there, but I think it's just for Max if I'm not mistaken? also does not export fbx :( EDIT: I read a bit further into the thread and it appears that he DID add fbx export, good stuff
I would say make the lighting brighter and add more bloom. On a more random note did they ask you to use CE3's already existing assets to make this and not model them yourself? Just asking :P
