in the case of the image you posted in the thread there, everything is too high for a PS1 scene in poly´s. Back then we did not focus on quads for one thing.. Not on the playstation atleast. But its not the same situation, its a similar situation, but you'd be sorely mistaken if you believe HR at most studios values blender experience the same as maya experience, even if its a max studio. Found that nvidia rtx competition last week, figured it's a good opportunity to practice lighting. It's a bit slow on a 1080 and sure crashes a lot but real time reflections, soft shadows and bounce light are too good. My only real mistake was I spent too much time making small props. Not because I couldn't do better, but because I thought it was the minimum to get a job. Had I known modeling something as complex as a Radial Engine would have landed me a job instantly, I would have done it two years ago. -
