I read that beforw but ill give it another go. Moving verts around is indeed a pain to have to redo every time. Any suggestions on the black mark errors?
I guess it's a bug. I used handplane with obj and it works, but only with obj. If you use fbx with tangents+binormals. you'll get the same error like in Xnormal.
Listen to Muzz. all of the basics that you are learning now will help you greatly when you are treading through those 2500 polygons, fixing errors. Keep going with these.
did you use a new version or something? when i try to import one of these characters, it says an unknown class no stand in, error! someone please help me
You may want to give this thread a read: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=81154 It should help with the oddly projected details. The smoothing errors are another thing.
Flipping the green channel of the normal map, I'm most certain of it, would fix the problem. That is what the error looks like. Does blender suck at displaying normal maps?
that looks like a baking error rather then the mesh. I would suggest trying a different normal map creator like xnormal. how does it look on the actual mesh?
