In the past 2 weeks I've been working on the high poly for this character. Yesterday I've started working on the low poly. Will update soon. Made after a concept by Marco Teixeira https://www.artstation.com/artwork/PL4PZ The whole process was streamed on my twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/nimlot26…
There is Occulus Medium and VRClay. Early adaptations alright but a glimpse to the future, no doubt. I watched a conference demo of Medium a while back but I can't seem to find the link again. It might have been either an Epic twitch or a GDC presentation. Sorry, can't remember.
@Bek Sos un titán Ben! Thanks, that layer set to Passthrough did it. So glad it was that simple. Didn't know Allego now made regular twitch streams though, I'm watching this instant some of those. Again, thanks a bunch Bek, you did it.
That Old Republic trailer was insane. Jesus. I thought it was over after the gunner dude got knocked out, but it wasn't even halfway through. Been looking forward to seeing more of Bulletstorm. I love the look of the environments, and the fast paced twitch action could be a lot of fun.
The first two game I ever finished in their entirety were Turok Dinosaur Hunter and American Mcgee's Alice, and I turned out just fine. I think. Sometimes I get this thing where my eyelids twitch and I see dead people. But that's normal.
Made a lot more progress today on the Deagle, hand painting chrome because I enjoy punishing myself. Need to go in and clean it all up with laso and gradient bucket. Streaming my process of this on Twitch if you wanna see me struggling... https://www.twitch.tv/slimefaces
Sometimes I type a response in thread with what i really meant to say then delete it and then type my standard response. Eventually I will develop a twitch if i keep on doing this:) To answer the original question I think it should be called polycount extended sans serif light.
I found it kinda awkward, and in the end, it didn't lead to much. I have a real problem with people that refuse to see the strength and uniqueness in the more reaction-based button-twitching aspects of gaming - I support the evolvement of the medium, but this video didn't make a very good case for it :)
I like the fact that the pecs are dominant but that is just a chartoonish twitch. And to show how long the arm are, i made a quick shot where the arms are down, and they end up where they suppost to. Maybe the length between the fore or upper arm is not totaly correct. Thanks guys, Rens
The lawyer scenes are a lot more compelling than one might expect them to be. I'd be kind of interested in a series that centres on regular folks trying to do law enforcement in a world with costumed loonies flailing about in the background. Maybe something like the Sam and Twitch series from the Spawn universe.
