So I did some work on the low poly. It's somewhere around 840 triangles right now. Any comments on the LP would be much appreciated, I got chewed out last week (partly over my crap LP). Would you guys add any geo for the little placards and drop box? How's the silhouette looking? -

Same here. SketchbokPro, PS , Sculptris, and Wings 3d. I use it to play around during lunch, between classes, and when mt kids are playing games on my desktop. TX2500 from HP can probably handle light Max or MAya usage, I have an old TC4400 with a crappy intel 945 video chipset, but it works. -

Last Guardian, GOW3 and Uncharted 2 looks great, but everything else fell flat; A new overpriced PSP that will get destroyed by the DS and a motion controller that's already obsolete compared to Natal. I had a similar problem with Maya 8-8.5 not too long ago with my 7300 gs and 8800 gt. I don't know if my solution will solve it for you, but under my Nvidia control panel, I set "Threaded optimization" to off. I found that under "adjust image settings with previews", and then "use advanced settings" -

I would move old stuff in an archive or mark it somehow as outdated, but not remove it. You never know why people come back for old info. Could be useful for academic research (e.g. previous work), could be useful for people working with old tech - i.e. we still have clients where we work with Max 9.0 or Maya 8.5. -

Most laptops don't have the ability to upgrade the video card, especially if it only has integrated graphics. If you have the 945 chipset, that means you likely have the GMA900 card, or the GMA950. I like the hairstyle on this new character. I think your body might be a bit too small though. I'm not sure how this is for all characters in Overwatch, but Soldier 76 already uses heroic proportions, being 8.5-9 heads tall. I did a edit where I slightly scaled up his body to be average (7.5 heads).
