Whoo! this thread is back! :D I really like the lighting and texturing changes you've made, much more realistic and all around pleasing to the eye! Looking forward to your final shots!
Looks pretty awesome to me! I don't know if you plan on moving her the cloth looks really realistic and I suppose it won't look good when deforming if there is no simulation running.
Looks great, can we see the texture sheet? I love how your texture looks, it looks like something between realistic and hand-painted stuff, something like borderlands
Looks really cool! I could see this in a Farcry game. Only issue I see is on the underside of the truck, in the front, there is an opening, which might not look so realistic if the truck was flipped in game!
@Mitchellangelo Thanks! I've tried to push the expression a little further than what is realistic. Kind of like Joker from the cartoons but still kinda in the believable range. Overall it's been a good experiment!
So I whipped out some quick concepts this weekend but I don't know if I'll realistically be able to pop any of these out in the next few days. Any favorites out of the lineup?
I went and took the normal maps off of the model and increased the size of the wings. When I originally did this I wasn't for sure on him being more realistic or to be more like the cartoon.
thats no real shroom, you gotta make them seperate, then it looks much more realistic (you can google for shroom cluster) edit: heres a paintover they come close, but do not join
I think I'll be doing a realistic/badass version of Disney's Hades Just a few refs For the face I think I'll do a mix of Nosferatu (Max Schreck) and Kurtz (Marlon Brando)
I'm kinda disappointed as well that the game is following the more realistic approach rather than the style of the cartoon as well. Congratulations, though. I hope it kicks ass and does well for you guys.
