well I just downloaded the demo on steam, launched it. it logged me into windows live and wanted a 25 long key code. and gave me this sweet-ass error. -

From prior experiences. It has slowed my computer down and caused errors when rendering. But that was a few versions ago. Its just habit to save a TGA by now... -

Yes,and its way worse as sometimes Maya crashes.It crashes less when I use the Autodesk Media & Entertainment preset.But the errors and problems still come up with it. -

The real problem of referencing from someone's art is you pick up all their errors as well. So if you can use real reference, by all means do. -

Yea the glass is pretty thin there, a result of making the cork sit properly in the top of it - doubt it'll be recognisable in the final renders, but i'll see. Fixed the stupid error on the book:
