I still enjoy games, I just don't seem to get much time to play them anymore though. All of these new serious and realistic games seem like a snooze though
Nice work, I agree with darthwilson that the head is too flat on top. Just in case you don't know ZBrush's spotlight will really help you get a photo-realistic texture on that model.
Don't think so, maybe for some render will try it Well, since this is going for a videogame, I'm going to texture it more in a realistic way, but that was an awesome idea I'll do for sure in a future environment!
Well if you can point me in the direction of a tutorial that will help me achieve a realistic Satin and Velvet Material inside of Unreal with the Standard Cloth Shader I would like to have a look at it.
Try to take advantage of the larger gradient colors white and black. Do not use 100% white or black, because it is not realistic. Some highlight information in your handpaint and it will look much better.) For example:
Love the sculpt so far, the skin and cloth looks so natural ^_^ Agreed with darbeenbo's critiques about more realistic shoes, gnawed fingernails, etc. - that extra detail would be awesome :D
tidy up the wires less pink/purple sticks, more red The object is pretty simple, you could hand paint it In the first pic the black electrical tape looks realistic, good
Cool, but what about texturing? Where dDo or substance painter involved? Also, I think the cuts look fine for a stylized prop. Stylized damage shouldn't be too realistic anyway, right?
Scale looks much better now. Realistically speaking though, surely the kunai should be much smaller than those swords :P Though i get that they have more interesting shapes
Whoo! this thread is back! :D I really like the lighting and texturing changes you've made, much more realistic and all around pleasing to the eye! Looking forward to your final shots!
