Hello all. I was wondering why most game engines still fail to sort the drawing orders for transparent objects, but the default rendering engines on Max and Maya can sort them out on their renders with no issues. I'm using Unity and there seems to be no workaround to that problem unless you're using Unlit soft edge…
https://www.suncalc.org here is a useful site too where you can find sun azimuth and angle based on your photo gps and north direction from a compass . In case you don't have daylight system in your 3d soft But I would suggest to try agisoft first. it's not same good sometimes still easy and simple
If I had made a game and sold lots of copies, why would I want to push verts in a studio? if you have published a game and it isn't market success, still indicates certain soft skills that put you above and beyond many. but likely those are skills not needed if you applying to be a technical specialist with limited scope…
Beautiful progress :) your scene looks alive and interesting. I agree with @jStins the blue screen is to much, I prefered the pre version more. Maybe one tought ... the door in the background is slightly open, at the moment it is pitch black. Would be interesting if you had a very soft light in the floor to create an…
Popping the edge to support some of the hi poly is going to cause that. Either put it back to where it was, flush with the surface, to prevent that smoothing issue or model an extra loop and end it close to where you want it neat the transition of the hi poly bulge. Or blur it out in photoshop, sample from the area around…

Biggest time sink will be putting together era appropriate background characters and extras to fill out some of the scenes. I'll tackle that one…
1: Get a job...any job. 2: Try to be a happier, more positive person, no matter how badly I feel. 3: Put more effort into my declining health and try to turn it around. 4: Quit drinking soda, and switch to water permanently. 5: Forget about games/art until 1-4 are completed at least.
the eye sockets still look a bit flat. few other things: *the forehead looks really off in terms of basic anatomy planes. *corner of the mouth/lips is too soft/round. this would be handy for the forehead specially:…
Lately I've been kinda of busy, but yesterday I could finally work on correcting this scene so I'm posting the update here. I've corrected the mirrored textures, the scale of the music notes on the crinkled up paper and corrected the fingerboard shape. I've also made the crinkled up paper a bit sharper (I felt it was a bit…
