I guess it's all about just defining what it is you want to see, a certain level of trial and error, and then making sure your team is on the same page haha.
Yer they are the baking errors i was talking about which i'll fix up in PS :D The main culprit is the wave edges around the circular piece on the tactical addon
That's a smoothing error, to get rid of that, in editable poly, select the poly, and on the modifier menu, scroll down to the smoothing group section. Click Clear All. It should then be a solid colour.
Ohhhh, very nice. I'll keep an eye in this. On the first wall you posted, why is it thinner in the middle? It also looks like it has some nasty smoothing errors?
Good idea, will check in game. But after longer consideration I think it really is just an importer error (well the rig works just fine... it just looks odd).
The official mirror does nothing for me. I download it and try to run it and it just gives me some weird DOS error. any other links to an actual download?
No, weirdly enough i did not receive any error messages in Substance painter. i didn't try decimating the mesh because i thought it'd remove a lot of the details. Thank you for taking your time to try the baking yourself:) I'll try using your advices (mirroring, decimate) and see if that'll work
ForSome reason the skin built in material show rather yellowish or greenish, Im guessing that the error here are my input maps, but do you guys have any suggestions/tips to get great skin? Thanks!
