I just got a gander at that side view in post 8... He's so thin - especially his ribcage - considering how wide his frame is. I think it could stand to be filled out a tiny bit. But, yeah. Take it as a grain of salt.
If your system can support it, at least 8 GB. I have a relatively modest system, and I'm posting here, streaming SOA on Netflix, and building lightmaps in UDK. :) i5k Ivy Bridge 16 GB Crucial Ballistic DDR3 GTX 460
just try it dude ;-) I can do it with 8 added tris, and give possibly 25% of you t-page back, if the engine allowed for open edges (some dont or give artefacts then i can do it for less or mirror the window too)
Jesus man... Pauls stuffs amazing. I have both of his sketchbooks he had up for offer. They are great. Can't wait to see lesbian demons with 8 sided dildos shooting demon pumpkins out of cock tanks... FUCK YEAH!!!!
@Lokthar thank you a lot! I am very embarrassed, but i made super inefficient packing. But i mirrored and straightened all what i can. There is 8 4k sets of textures and my texel density is 1000 px/m^2
You never disappoint. Are the winners based on "likes" in this comp? Your work is objectively better than 5 of the 8 pieces that have higher ranks. Hell the number 2 position, 3000 likes ahead if the next contender, is only a partly finished sketch.
This is pretty close to being an oxymoron. You shouldn't aim to have like 8 mediocre-but-finished-sorta pieces in your portfolio, you should aim to improve so that you're only showing your absolute best. If it's "rushed" it shouldn't be on your portfolio.
sorry, I mean in maya 7 or 8 there is a tool to bake normal map,we can get object/tangent space normal map ,but how can we get tangent space normal map from low version maya? there is no that tool.
I'd say his torso is pretty long - which results in an 8-and-a-half heads height and I think that's jarringly tall considering the face isn't idealised at all... That said, I've been known to say this more often, but people always disagree.
I did both 512 and 1024 and was still at a very low poly count. Base count for the cube would be 8 anyway, and maybe the size makes it so it doesn't reach into the 6 digits. I tried scaling up and down with similar results.
