Haha yes I am aware that would burn you Mudbox standalone users, hence the sticky out tongue. :) But Mudbox development has been pretty slow (sorry derail).
oh i'm well aware that the intel mac is affected, just saying even though power PC seems to be another architecture caught up in this, we do no longer use that one.
He's just saying be aware of where you are spending your geometry. It would be better to reduce the number of sides on some of the smaller parts and instead add additional geometry to the large pieces.
Ahhh yeah, I had just uploaded that last one 'cause it looked neat with just the normal map applied - though there's some smoothing issues I'm aware of. **Edit** Fixed.
Yeah I'm perfectly aware that you don't need to have shiny effects or transitions to showcase your work but it would be nice to have a basic grasp of how some things are done.
Very smart script indeed, condition-aware command is great, speedup a lot and feeling natural even I didn't use this kind of combined command AIO before. Thanks, man.
Doesn't exist natively as far as I'm aware. I made a script myself to mirror a character rig but I never got to mirroring animations, maybe it's something you could use.
lefty here. i was not aware that this counts as handicap for using wacom tablets. ;) my suggestion would be to try to getting used to it a little more before you resort to hand (finger?) painting.
