I just think a 300 mile range is really impressive, compared to what's been on the market so far at least. But if that's isn't good enough there is hope, but it will take many years and research money to develop. If you haven't heard of nanowire, it's a battery type that for the same space as a normal lit Ion can hold…
Hello, and thanks for checking out my sketchbook! I'm Tapio Terävä, and I'm an aspiring 3D artist from Finland. I'm about to graduate from the Kajaani University of Applied Sciences, after studying Game Graphics there for almost 5 years (not full time). I've just finished my thesis, called "Workflows for Creating 3D Game…
This will be the artist devlog for a turn-based action strategy PC game scheduled to launch early access around September/November 2018. The game has been in development for more than a year by a sole programmer/developer and is in a fully playable state (some bugs crawling around, of course), but it lacks 3d assets that…
Thanks for the critiques I went in and fixed (tried) all the problems you stated I noticed drastic improvement the ears it seems like it drifted away from its original spot while shaping the head next time I will put a guide overlay on top of the model so the features remain in their correct location sculpted with a 90mm…
@Ysalex: I personally don't feel the action-reaction scheme is the same as it is in media. A book might move between quiet and action moments, but it's all text. A piece of music has softer and more bombastic parts, but it's all music. In games, the action is handled by means of game, but the reflective parts are handled…
Radio: Good modelling and attention to wear & tear but the render is really holding it back. Try using Marmoset Toolbag for presenting game assets. Make sure to show your texture maps. Stairwell: In your description you repeatedly mention the assets you haven't done. Either finish them or remove the piece. The wall…
Your shapes are getting really blobby. In Zbrush try using an HPolish with a really hard alpha over the detail to sharpen it out. A common workflow i use on stone is to start with a trim dynamic to wear down some 90degree corners, then go over that with a very sharp alpha HPolish. Your cracks also dont look intentional.…
My friends laugh at me because I hate mobiles (have a basic samsung mob for 4 years now that cost me 22 euros:)) and laptops, tablets and the likes have never clicked with me, the tech I use has a purpose and I also have some audio gear in my hobbit cave (built up over many years) which perplexes the shit out of everyone…
i dont care if someone smokes or not but dad smoked from age 14(i think he said) until just this year when he had disks in his neck fused and a plate put in, 40 years give or take a couple. i went to college and got away from the smoking. after a while i got to the point where if i was anywhere near his smoking i had to…
One of the western digital HDDs I bought for my new rig was DOA. Had to RMA back to Newegg for a placement. The new one was fine and dandy. Got my 500gb sata2 Raid0 up and running smooth now I suffered the same fate a few years ago, Hawken. Lost 5+ years of work Sorry to hear of your misfortune. Scooby is right on target…
