That's my example too! The backlight works from all angles. It is blending two materials... one is lit same direction as light and shows a regular leaf texture, the other material is lit the inverse direction (inverted normal map) and shows an under-leaf texture. However, my original problem has to do with self-shadowing.… -

the wear and tear on the cross beams looks upside down, it looks like damage done by leaking water over time which defies gravity :P too many skids imo, show some of the track and break 1 or 2 skids or have them missing a board or two looks good so far, nice to see it slowly coming to life -

Your UVs could definately use up more space. Make em bigger and squish em all in. Why are you using two separate maps? You should probably put everything on the one map for something like this. You could overlap the UVs for the handle, too, unless you're wanting to do something unique on one of the sides. Hope that helps. -

I've had one or two die after massive use, but i'll always buy the same one again! They can be found new on eBay btw even though newegg doesn't carry them anymore. I'm sure the updated version is fine too though. I stick with them because they are the most comfortable, best for wrist pain that i've found. -
