Seattle Polycount Meetup #2!!!!
Well everyone was down for another meet up last time we met, so lets do it. When I was really young I was bit in the balls by a spider (like 3 years old) and my genitals swelled up. Also around 10 I jumped off the top of our stairs, landed leaning back on like the 4th one from the ground, looked at my arm, and it was bend 270 degrees at the elbow. -

It's not about free speech, or having to the right to do, it's sheer decency. We need to ignore this one, and perhaps hype the next disgaea title instead. I heard a 5th one was coming out. -

The finished product looks decent but the materials look like they could use a bit more love. The topology looks like it is directly taken from your High poly model (unsubdivided) and could probably have 1/5th (or even less) the amount of polygons you have which is important for real time rendering performance. -

Very good points there! I'll probably add a 1/4th curved corner sofa in the corner by the stair just like you said. About the handrail, yeah, I was a bit sceptical to it as well. I think I'll either add 2 more rails, or remove it. I will be back later with a revised concept. Thanks for the help! :) -

Great work so far! I think the tattoo works better with the lowered opacity. The open mouth faces (3rd and 5th) look a little strange with a lot of pinching at the edges... I'm not quite sure it's meant to look like that. Also, considering that he is a warrior/fighting type wouldn't it make sense to showcase a… -

I'm not Mr Physics Guy here, so forgive my complete ignorance. We're getting a lot of power for not much cost, right? If this sort of thing was developed and extrapolated to the Nth degree, could it have any potential for generating power? In a few years are we going to ditch the nuclear power plants and run the world on… -

hahalol! then i'll be sure to avoid HD till i buy my own HDTV.... but yeah, now that i look, there are some nice 720p, HDMI in, LCD HDTVs at around $600 US... pretty good stuff! none multi-system or multi-vaoltage though [uh-oh]. oh, and wth is ATSC? never heard of it lol! -

Like the elf in the chair! Really makes me wish I didn't suck when it came to fleshing things out, and fleshing them out quickly. I also dig what you were doing with that quick environment on the 4th. Are you more comfortable with environments than you are characters? Don't see a lot of them here.
