Yeah I love the lighting/colors. I would definitely add more dirt/grime to the bottoms of the walls and such once you get to that point :) . How did you make those cool rain puddles??
hey! awesome job on the prop breakdowns. They really show you efford and i really love seeing the progress. What did you use for the wood details in Zbrush. And could you add a texture breakdown?
Thanks. Nice after you boolean the spline did you add a shell modifier? I am gonna try to make a complex shape using that technique when I get home. This is really helpful.
Awesome stuff, I like that you relaxed the soldier's hands in the last couple of shots, adds a lot to the gesture. The pieces on his armor and details are pretty clean, did you use Dynamesh for creating them?
Did a bunch more props to add clutter. Materials are all -VERY- WIP and this isn't the real scene. It's just my test chamber. Gotta start some furniture and walls and stuff soon ... All in UE4.
no what they are saying is add your key and register the game with steam and download through there and see if that works. I did this with half life 2 since one of my disks got jacked. *NVM you fixed it.
What I did was create the outside with plane shift-extruding, then boolean the holes out, then you can use a shell modifier with the inner amount set to the right amount, then add edge loops on the inside of the circles.
The house model is looking good. You could make just a few tweaks to the silhouette and add some things to break up the straight edges and it will help a ton. I did a PO of what I mean.
Did some work on the texture. Had some problems with the greenish metal, but I think it went well. Still a lot to go (rework the rusted leaks, add some more characteristics/story elements etc.)
Did you add interior lights? Or big windows and a sun? You need to use radiosity IIRC. If you just want the AO pass, set all materials to flat white (except the light sources).
