my entry level salary was under 20k/year as a contractor(in bellevue/seattle area), but it only took me 3 months to get hired on full time with a more "average" salary. lol, I love how hung up employers get on College degrees, especially in the computer fields. Most people coming out of high school now, have been using/programming on computers for years. Usually they are more advanced/talented than the students coming out of college. I guess it's just a process that'll never change though…
