Groucho Marx was a (very famous) person. Made movies long before 1974. Used alot of One liners, thats why I thought it might be him. http://www.google.co.uk/images?q=groucho+marx&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=univ&sa=X&ei=cn-UTeKfKoaAhQeF_pTpCA&ved=0CDwQsAQ&biw=1104&bih=609 anyway. Nah...dont know this one.
That is a great question. If someone is going to do something unethical are they going to care that a contract is in place? I don't think so. Even if there is a signed contract it is nearly impossible to enforce across state borders and even harder over country borders. And not even worth the time for a couple hundred…
Hi, i am currently working on creating a 3D environment of a f1 garage. There will be 2 f1 cars in the scene. I am wondering if anyone can tell me in bit more depth what you mean by 60,000 polygons? Does this mean in tri's so it would be 60k tris or would be 120k tris?
Thanks. (For the advice and compliment both.) As you said that shouldn't be a problem, I doubt there are perspective magicians among us that can fill the space with 2 panels of the same length. Ouch. Made me realize the room is probably of this shape: Mine is 60k tris ATM. I am beveling all of my stuff, so that I don't…
Thanks Vassago for posting this, very good point about performance. Lighting has a cost, but getting framerate to a rock-steady 60Hz is a struggle for graphics-heavy games, so you have to make tradeoffs. np MightyPea. There's a lot you can do with vert normals, but like Vassago says sometimes it's a conscious decision to…
I personally shoot with a Canon 60D and the Lens that came with mine had an image stabilizer. I also have Nikon but I prefer Canon when in comes to shooting Video. The Low light shooting is great and you can shoot in 1080p @ 30fps and 720p @ 60fps or 30fps. If money is not a big deal I recommend the Canon 5DMKII.
Base model sitting at 686 polygons (triangles) for LoD0 with plenty of room to take it down to below 600 for L0D1. There are a few areas I could reduce and reuse those polygons in curved areas.
