I talk about this one : https://dl.dropbox.com/u/565299/Polycount%20Uploads/LightTank/LightTankUpdate06a.jpg Here you have a start with different colors, green, blue, orange, it cold be cool to continue that way, trying to paint different part whith different colors or shades of the same green.
If you're OK with Steam for now, shoot me an email at travisbaldree@gmail.com and I'll set you up! Will continue to look into some other way to keep versioning patched without sending out a bunch of zip files for non-Steam users that I can't keep track of versioning with :)
yea good point adrian prob need to add more color variation as well...veins and etc... but not sure if i will continue to work on this or begin another stylized character learned a lot from this first hand painting experience so hopefully next one will be a lot better XD
penis + mouth = job I'm not the only one! ..right? edit b4ban: internship during my final 4 months at school, just continued to full time after that..quit 4 months later and moved to japan..2 years later, moved back..back at square 0..
Gotta love the holidays, family time is crucial to me, but... back to work. I decided to continue on this piece and finish it within the following 2 weeks. Made some changes and modeled some more. Still have much to do, but I feel confident I'll get it done in time.
I've been continuing to learn how to use Blender for this contest, so it took me rather longer than it would do in 3DS Max to get to this high poly stage - I'm still having to look up a lot of shortcuts! I'll add the screws, text and damage in ZBrush.
Yeah, or the attitude of some people that you can't possibly be a good artist in games if you don't play a lot of games yourself. Its like.... ok, you continue clocking 8 hours a day on Dota and I'll be working, lets meet back here in 6 months :D
I used to feel the same living in the UK, in my experience things have really improved recently and look set to continue for at least another 3/4 years. As much as it bores me politics does matter. My families paying a lot less tax now anyway.
'The Pass Through blend mode blends any layers within the set and then continues blending with layers outside the set.' as opposed to Normal- 'Using Normal blending on a layer set treats all the layers within a set as if they were a single layer that is then blended normally with other layers outside the set.'
@David-J: Thanks, that's a good idea I'll try it out. @Paul Pepera: I see, so do you think it's okay for me to leave the 3d visualization up as long as I continue to add more game art? Thanks everyone, I really appreciate the feedback.
