3 and 4 work for me, as they've not got barrels (it's not reliant on explosive pressure, so there's no need for a bullet-hugging barrel... you'd likely just end up with the projectile melting/fusing itself to the inside of the barrel the first time the gun was fired). 3 feels the most rifle like, 4's straying a little too…
1. SSD = win 2. Samsung 840 EVO is a good model, 250GB is a good size 3. It will work fine on your Sata 2 port, might be a littler slower than it would be on Sata 3 but will still be much faster than a HDD 4. Shouldn't be a problem with Vista but, you'll likely want to re-install your OS anyway so might as well go with Win…
the high poly or low poly? i just use default scane light with skylight and about 3-4 omni lights, top one bluwish bottom orange, but u can play with the color for high poly i se the skylight on 1 and low poly i use it with like 0.4-3 depands, sometimes i dont use it at all it depends on the feedback from the texture
this thread may be helpful: https://polycount.com/discussion/128700/anyone-tried-creating-assets-for-arma-3/p1 there is a well written tutorial in there for arma 3. Not sure how similar that is to DayZ standalone, but man... it's not so easy getting shit into arma. I tried briefly but gave up on it. Good luck. Let us see…
well you can channel pack 3 greyscale maps into the R,G and B channels of a single texture file, because they are grescale you can get 3 for the price of one. my buddy created a badass blend shader in unreal that he is giving away for free, and in the tutorial video of how to use it he shows that exact workflow. that info…
Sorry for the long times, i make a break with this project :) . I going to post an update in 2/3 days ! @ Kyuuuu : thx ! See you in 2 / 3 days :p @ Gannon : Thx you dude. I would not do anything around the tower for the moment. I've got a "big" project. @ Benlucas : I was faster than you :p . I'm curious to see your…
Using too many polygons for starting out it will hurt your modelling skills. Just follow 3 point curve guide and you ll be happy, basically you let subdivision do the heavy work like if you put 3 points on paper to form a triangle > and apply turbosmooth it will look like ) this. Hope it make sense. Better check out Arimus…
Do you mean like dynamic ropes? or just static mesh? Static mesh would be modeled just like anything else, 3 or 4 sided cylinders. Draw a spline from one pole to another then extrude a 3 or 4 sided face along the spline. Duplicate if necessary and export as ASE. Or if they are far enough away from the camera alpha planes…
It's Unreal 3. The fact that people think it's 4 is a testament to how good Rocksteady's engineers are: http://kotaku.com/batman-arkham-knight-wont-have-multiplayer-will-hav-1536502499 "According to GI, the game uses a "juiced-up version of Rocksteady's custom modified Unreal engine," which could mean a number of things…
I think the biggest reason to make a stylized game is that everything else ages way too quickly. TF2 will still look pretty good 2-3 years down the road... but no game that was made to look realistic 2-3 years ago looks any good by now. Sure that doesn't really matter as much with SP games, but MP games with a long…
