Hi, We're in need of a great level designer to use our existing assets and craft an incredible environment in Unity3D. We're on a bit of a time crunch, so somebody who can work quickly and can be creative with modular assets would be ideal. Please PM me your portfolio of environments.
How much am I allowed to change the original concept? If i would keep the composition, but change the style of the buildings, colors, etc, and do it in my own style but with a different sort of theme and feel to it. I'm feeling creative but im afraid of taking it too far
You've opened pandora's box...... And in more related news, I'm loving the Jake viewcube, I just wish viewcube would work in Viewport 2.0. Very creative idea, and I wish more artists would experiment with customizing things that are less obvious to customize.
Some other dude posted this. I gotta hand it to dominance war, it hasn't even started yet and this is some of the most creative work i've seen come out of the game art community in some time. Edit: i'm just seeing green tooth, Andreas
The autodesk suites run well on windows 8. I switched directly when it came out end of 2012 and don´t had any issues. Even my old creative suite 3 works. I did not tried mudbox, but zbrush works fine.
I think the intuos pro small is what you're looking for. http://www.wacom.com/en/us/creative/intuos-pro-s at $250 usd, it should be right around your price range. It's a solid professional choice that you should be able to use for years to come.
Hey Anthony cool stuff. Its great to see you putting down your thought process. Though, I thought the point of the competition was to take an existing character from the game and put your own creative spin on it? Great stuff keep it up J
My texturing tutorial #3 in 3D Creative magazine. If you want find out how I did hand-paint texture for Demon Chaser - it's your chance :) Another tutorials from these series: Tutorial #1 - Modelling Tutorial #2 - Mapping, AO baking
You can add another one to the Creative Assembly list . Although i'm on a different team to Marks and CW. Also, CW and Marks are on different teams. So I think thats 10 altogether for CA (6 on CW's team, 3 on Marks, 1 on mine).
1) just power through the wall - if you're a production artist you have to do this 2) Creative Procrastination: sure, when you get bored work on something else, when you get bored with that revisit some of the other stuff you got bored with.
