Been having a fever for the last couple of days so haven't been able to work, at least not effectivly :( But got one more prop done which will be my focus-prop, hanging in the middle of the room. After all, what is 80's retrofuture without interlinked television sets?
I think if the background was a solid white it'll be able to show off the prop better. It's because there are a lot of dark colours in the prop which blend into the background. I think the dials need more dirt and grime as well. Overall I think its really good! Keep it up!
I love atmospheric scenes, this is coming together beautifully. Maybe when you have time, if you could lay out your props for the scene and some texture samples? I'm curious as to how modular this scene is, let alone see the props individually (like tristram tunnels thread) :poly142:
Thanks! Appreciate the feedback. Admittedly, I got a tad lazy with the final props, and rushed it a bit, I was running out of time with my self-imposed time frame. If I fixed some of the lighting, I reckon the scene could probably benefit from some higher quality props and textures
Made a couple more props, but not much progress in the scene itself! Gonna make a few more props before I do most progress shots on the environment. :) The painting is a bit WIP, as you prolly can tell. ^^ All details were nDo'ed and then textured with dDo. No highpoly. Any feedback is appreciated! :)
I'd consider losing the 'sections' and just display larger images on the main page, leaving the single props toward the end of the images. Your strongest work is the dungeon and market which are both pretty good, yet they take up just as much initial space as the smaller props on your home page.

Right, thats good to know as thats exactly the error that comes up is that it cant find that procedure. I'll drop the MEL in this evening and see if that will fix the issue.
Hello guys! Here is my stuggle with SciFi modular environment. I don't have experience in doing those, so it is great opportunity for me to learn. I might be doing this the wrong way but never the less failure is also a lesson :) This is a copy of my blog post from Artstaion. I will soon be publishing my round 2 :) Cheers!…
Hi! Yes, like that (loop of selected edge). You can merge both halves together along one side, so you end up with one UV island. Here is an example on Sketchfab that seems to do it that way (you can check UVs in the viewer). UVs like that make it easy to simplify the model (LODs) without breaking them. Btw, I assumed this…
